The premiere issue in OMRI's new weekly publication, the OMRI Russian Regional Report, was published on 28 August 1996. The OMRI Russian Regional Report will focus on the local elections around the country. But, as part of OMRI's commitment to following the calculus of change in Russia, the Report will continue to follow the events shaping these regions after the elections are over.
